Code Blue: Bingo Bolger-Baggins
Well, I just spent the entire night in my bomb-shelter, and when I emerged, I looked like something an elf might sleep with! Quite frightful. But that's nothing this warm bath can't fix. I must remember that cutting the red wire disarms a bomb; cutting the blue sets it off; cutting the yellow cleans the oven. If only I could remember all these things that Trotter has tried to teach me!
What's that, dear mun? No, that's alright, I can get up and get the towel when I need to . . . no, no I won't need any help drying off, thank you. I would like MY ICONS BACK though! Yes. Thank y . . . don't make me take out that restraining order again . . . there's a good mun; you run along dear.
So which icon should I put up on my page today? Let's see. "Nobly Motivated in Emyn Muil Bingo." No. "Oh Shit Bingo" which doubles as "Endearingly Quizzical Bingo"--not surprisingly, I've used that quite a bit already. "Mommy, Don't Make Me Go On That Quest, Quivering Lip Bingo." No. Oh, and here's "Achingly Yearning to Get Laid Bingo"--might as well toss that one and just go down to the Ivy Bush and get "Very Fucked-Up And Brain Dead And Then Down To the Automatic Photo Booth Bingo"--seems to be the current fashion. And here's "Fiercely Pissed-Off/Turned On And Couldn't Be Cuter Bingo." No. "Heartbreakingly Despondent and Elvishly Precious Bingo." Hmmm. "Exquisitely Contemplative Bingo?" Hmmm. No, let's just go with "Responsible Homeowner Bingo" and leave it at that for now.
You know, there's so much tension in the Shire lately. I think it's because hobbits just aren't getting the time to connect like they used to. I wonder what could help bring the Shire together in a greater sense of community again? Hmmm. I've got it! It would take a bit of work though. I don't think it could be pulled off before fall, but there's plenty of talented hobbits that could lend a hand to it, I'm sure. I'll have to start laying the ground work. Good. A project!
Warm water feels so good. I wonder who I should visit today. I haven't seen Cousin Fatty yet. And there hasn't been a Took or Brandybuck in sight as far as I have seen. Perhaps I'll need to take a stroll down to Tuckborough sometime this week.
