Being The Domestic Hobbit: Bingo Bolger-Baggins
I had Bag End to myself this afternoon. Frodo and Samwise got together with Merry and Pippin and went down to Farmer Maggot's farm for old times sake, and I think as a bonding experience to patch over the recent tensions. I do hope they'll bring home some rather exciting vegetables.
I am feeling a little better than I've been for a while . Trotter was right to tell me to talk about the things that are bothering me. I had spoken at length about my troubles
with the very sweet Norolinde yesterday--she's very considerate. And today when I got on my crutches and went down to the Bracegirdle's Market to get some cheese and mushrooms for the casserole I'm making for dinner for everyone, as well as strawberry bubble bath for Sammy Jr. to replace what I used up, I met an old hobbit lying in the street. I
helped him out of the street and unburdened my heart to him as well. He was such a good listener--he didn't move at all or even blink as I told him my tale of woes. People really do care if you just give them the chance to, I find.
I'm a bit tired after preparing dinner. Perhaps I can catch a nap before everyone comes home.
