RESERVATIONS FOR THE QUEST: Bingo Bolger-Baggins
Before I write about the happenings of the last few days, I just have to mention that my beloved and I are finally going to take that trip together, though we're combining it with a ring quest reenactment. He's rather serious about it in ways I don't completely understand yet as the ring he bears is not really the one ring, but hopefully I'll better understand his thinking on it in time, as I have with other issues. But we are
set to leave on the traditional date of September 23rd, and I'm getting quite excited about it.
I don't think Iorhael realizes how many other hobbits and sundry folk we may be vying with for rooms, since that is, of course, the most popular time for setting off on the quest route. So I've gone ahead and made some reservations already, and I'm glad I did, because the Prancing Pony is all booked up on the traditional dates, naturally, and I was lucky to get the very last room that was left. And of course, I made a reservation at House of Bombadil for the nights before. And because I made reservations there early enough they're sending us a coupon for a Ringquest Special at the Haunted Barrow, which I've been told is an incredibly romantic inn with an amazing chef.
Now where did I put that brochure on the Bed&Breakfast at Amon Sul?
