Digging for Distractions: Bingo Bolger-Baggins

So, it seems to be a nice day out here in the garden. My sunflower is making rapid progress, bless its little leafy heart. Tending the garden is a new occupation for me, really, but I'm getting a bit of a knack for it. It's good to be doing something different, I suppose. And the patch over here could use a little turning over, something I can put my back into to make me sleep at night. That's the difficult time, when it's dark.

And since I've been staying on at Undertowers for a good week now, it's time I ask Elanorelle to put me in charge of some task around here. It will give her a little more time with G-g and Ana, that sweet little distraction, and take my mind off things a bit more.

As for distractions, I met a strange chap the other day who carried the family name and resemblance; though I hadn't met him before, such things no longer surprise me. I must find out if he's kin or from another realm, if he does indeed stop by for dinner.

And speaking with Norolinde today put me in mind of a task I had been avoiding thinking on. It's still too soon though. Still too soon. I so miss . . . mustn't think. There's some soil. Interesting, isn't it?
