In other news, though Fatty was mad at me yesterday, at least we got a chance to talk and I think we reached an understanding. I do hope he comes back to the Shire. I miss him. And Estella too; I haven't seen her since Melkor interrupted our afternoon tea. And where are all the little hobbitlings--the Gamgees and Bagginses? I've seen so few out at play lately.
I also spoke with Lord Glorfindel yesterday about our coming to visit with him and Celeborn in Imladris. The plague of fell butterflies does seem to bode ill for a relaxing vacation, so perhaps Iorhael and I should revise our itinerary for our little trip. We shall see.
