Serial Mortality and the Well-Balanced Hobbit: Bingo Bolger-Baggins

Though the wings of love sustain me still, yesterday was a stressful day. We lost Frodo and Samwise once again, this time due to the Lady Galadriel's untimely fit. Few seem to be aware of this fact at this point due to the total disintegration of the pair in the explosion, and perhaps we can keep it that way until they return. Elanorelle just returned from what seems to have been an invigorating trip, and I'd hate to see her brought low by this news.

What worries me more is the event's affect on my Iorhael. He seems to think that it bodes worse trials ahead for him from his mun writer, and of a fatal nature. It may be time to organize a union for Puppets and Muses; I shall look into it. He and I shall discuss it, as we do everything.

In other news, though Fatty was mad at me yesterday, at least we got a chance to talk and I think we reached an understanding. I do hope he comes back to the Shire. I miss him. And Estella too; I haven't seen her since Melkor interrupted our afternoon tea. And where are all the little hobbitlings--the Gamgees and Bagginses? I've seen so few out at play lately.

I also spoke with Lord Glorfindel yesterday about our coming to visit with him and Celeborn in Imladris. The plague of fell butterflies does seem to bode ill for a relaxing vacation, so perhaps Iorhael and I should revise our itinerary for our little trip. We shall see.
